We represent the courageous and selfless men and women of the Northwest Fire District. Our union is provides steadfast advocacy for our dedicated firefighting professionals. Local 3572 is more than a union; we are a family of individuals united by a common mission – to save lives, protect property, and care for our community.
Northwest Fire District Mission
A group of conscientious community members who wanted quality service and protection established the Northwest Fire District in 1984. Beginning in 1994, Local 3572 has represented the Northwest firefighters through membership in the International Association of Firefighters, as well as the Professional Firefighters of Arizona.
In 1996, the Flowing Wells Fire District was absorbed into the Northwest Fire District, which created an opportunity for more members to join. With the rapid expansion of Marana and the surrounding areas more stations were built and our personnel strength grew. Since the formation of Local 3572, we have grown to over 220 members strong.
We are committed to fostering a supportive environment for our firefighters. This commitment extends from advocating for fair compensation and benefits, supporting continuous professional development, and ensuring the best possible equipment and safety measures. We believe that by taking care of those who protect us, we are enhancing the safety of our entire community.
The members of Local 3572 are more than just firefighters. We are your neighbors, friends, and family members. We actively participate in local events and charities, believing in the power of community engagement. We take immense pride in our role as community servants, and it is our honor to stand as a beacon of safety, support, and resilience.
